economy has a ehole tech tree ffs, how did you come up with the thought they "streamlined it" is beyond me. in planetfall they actually expanded on it, made it more in depth. city development in aow3 was like in previous titles almost non existant. economy has a ehole tech tree ffs, how did you come up with the thought they "streamlined it" is beyond me.Įrm. Every step of the way we have combat options from doing NPC faction quests or fighting the NPC faction's units.Įrm. You encounter other player empires and jockey for the last bits of land. Start out expanding and clearing out camps. Overall I like the way the game plays out. If the deeper city management was something you cared about from 3 its absolutely understandable you dislike the changes. City management is streamlined with sectors. People rage about the small feeling map but with the combat focus enlarging the map would just delay the combat. The combat is mechanically stronger than previous. However I personally find it was done well here.

Something that I personally have raged about in the past (ahem, Skyrim). Planetfall very obviously is the result of refining and streamlining mechanics. I understand people who are disappointed from AoW 3.
